AM: Only ‘Be with You Tonight.’

SB: Happy New Year! Word on the street is that you’ve got some new films coming out this year. As you continue to advance those happenings, you might find yourself rubbing elbows with some musicians at premieres or award shows. Who’s someone you wouldn’t mind bumping into in hopes of planting the seeds of a future soundtrack or score?

AM: Hah! LEISURE, Yebba (I’ve got my eye on one of her tracks for Bandini), Parcels, Little Simz (got my eye on a track of his, too). I wish I could fund a whole album for MCH. Wouldn’t mind bumping in to Phony Ppl or Chromeo. Basically I need to write a movie that enables me to get all of them onto one soundtrack and then we can all be legendary for being the dopest movie soundtrack to dance to in years. Composer-wise, I think the move is to find the next Labrinth and then let them do their thing.
