STEPHEN'S PLAYLIST

ANNE MARIE'S PLAYLIST

STEPHEN TO ANNE MARIE:

SB: What's your favorite song?

AM: Music, Mystery Skulls. The opening feels so redemptive and optimistic to me. Puts me in a good state of mind.

SB: Were any of these songs or artists familiar to you?

AM: Parcels (on my list this month, zinggggg!), Nico & Vinz

SB: If you were having a really bad day, what's the last song on this list you'd want to hear and why?

AM: Million Dollars by Horse Thief. Folk / Americana is very dear to me. I like to get down with The Tallest Man On Earth, Mumford and the like, but when I'm having a rough day, I really need a pick me up. Those sounds inevitably sink me deeper into whatever state of mind I'm already in, which means if I'm feeling a little sorry for myself when I get home, I'll be crying on the bathroom floor by the end of the song. I live alone, remember? I must police myself.

ANNE MARIE TO STEPHEN:

AM: What's your favorite song?

SB: "The High" by Midas Hutch

AM: Were any of these songs or artists familiar to you?

SB: Parcels was the only group I've heard before.

AM: What song would you most like to listen to when stranded in a thunderstorm?

SB: Don't Fight It by Gavin Turek...because the message would be "it's raining, don't fight it" and then I'd proceed to start dancing in the rain like a school girl.
